Nice to meet you. I’m André, a graphic and web designer based in Lisbon.
Moving straight from Portugal’s interior to the capital, I’ve started studying communication design in 2010. Few essays and many all-nighters after, I’ve survived Lisbon’s Faculty of Fine Arts with distinction, graduating in 2013. I’ve been working ever since.
Starting at v-a studio, I was an intern for a year. Between the ping-pong breaks, I’ve practiced web design and front-end development for different projects. I was also in charge of creating HTML newsletters for e-mail marketing campaigns.
In 2015, I changed seats to Silvadesigners’ design studio — where I’m still working. In a typical day, you can find me shaping an editorial project, developing a visual identity or imagining an exhibition for clients within the cultural sector, mainly.
At the same time, as a freelance designer, my time is spent juggling client work and self-initiated projects. I like to work with friends and people that are as passionate about what they do as I am.
Believe it or not, I also have some spare time. I’m a voracious reader and a board games addict. Love to swim and to engage in smart conversations.
Fancying some more info? Great. Saying my goodbyes to you with some further options. Be free to:
a) browse the selected projects I present hereb) request a cv and complete pdf portfolio (full of exciting stuff!)c) invite me for a drink.
